Humphrey taken in Supplemental Draft

In the busiest NFL Supplemental Draft to date, the Broncos use their 1990 first-round pick to take Alabama RB Bobby Humphrey.

Humphrey posts back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons to open his career. Five players were taken in the 1989 supplmental draft, including three first rounders: Humphrey, Miami (Fla.) QB Steve Walsh (Dallas) and Washington State QB Timm Rosenbach (Phoenix).
