The Broncos sign free-agent TE Stephen Alexander and bring back LB Keith Burns, who spent the 2004 season with the Buccaneers.

Alexander spends two seasons with the Broncos and starts 29 games, catching 39 passes for 330 yards and three touchdowns. Burns remains with the Broncos as a player and later a coach through the 2012 season, after which he joins the Redskins to work under Mike Shanahan as special-teams coordinator.
