“You won’t regret picking me,” Shannon Sharpe says after the Broncos take him with the No. 192 overall pick late in the seventh round of the 1990 NFL Draft.

The Savannah State wide receiver eventually converts to tight end and retires after the 2003 season as the most prolific pass-catcher at the position in league history to that point.
