In a winner-take-all showdown at the Kingdome for the AFC West crown, Denver wins its 13th game of the season, the most in Broncos history, and captures the AFC West crown with a 31-14 win over Seattle.

Sammy Winder finishes the season with 1,153 yards rushing, and Steve Watson gains 1,170 yards receiving — the first time Denver has had 1,000-yard performers in both categories in the same season. Steve Foley’s third-quarter pick-six punctuates the win.
